The Holiness of Loneliness

Loneliness is a reflection of the divinity between the self and others
Loneliness is a thread weaving time between souls
Loneliness is what existed before the primal sound
A call for attention
To be seen
To feel the expansion of what is possible

Imagine being God before creation and how alone that must have felt
The power to do anything and yet no one to share it with
It is this loneliness that lead to creation
We are created in God's image
Humans are the light of the universal mind
The colors of now
So that we can admire and desire and rest in the awe of the divine
To pray and celebrate each day

The present is a gift that is pre-sent
The past plays a role in pre-sending today
In presenting the way into the future based on the decisions we make today
If it weren't for loneliness would today even exist?

Space is lonely
Emptiness is lonely
Yet within this vacuum is everything

If loneliness is the question
Then love is the answer
Why do I feel alone?
Because love is overshadowed
Out of focus
Distracted attentions span the bridge between what we are taught and what we already know
Until the difference becomes a riddle to untangle
In the middle of the riddle is the center
Always the center
Find your center

How did I get here?
Where am I supposed to go?
What is my purpose?
All questions with good intentions
With hidden agendas layered between expectations selling the dream
Lo and behold the loan of being alone
Borrowing from the future connections to innerstand what it takes to get there

Looking out love is lost
Because love is inside
Loneliness is a reminder to look inside
To find joy in small acts
To find activities to enjoy alongside others
To move
To breath
To smile
To date yourself every day in every way

Loneliness can't be solved by swiping
Loneliness can't be solved by scrolling
Loneliness can't even be solved by another person

If together only means to get her
Then she has quite the burden to bear
Rather to go together
To grow together
To flow together
To roar together
Is the remedy to being alone.
